4little1s.com - Baby market 'financial snip bits'

Having recently read through the baby market press, I noted a few financial indicators for the future that have encouraged me.

Roughly £13bn was spend online from Jan 08 – March 08, which equates to around £200 per person in the UK, not bad for a ‘slowing economy’ ! This is just over 50% more than the same period last year says IMRG Cap Gemini E Retail Sales index. Now here is the bit that excites me…..Roughly £850m was spent online in the week of the Easter holidays alone….wow !
Big growth areas were noted in the sale of beers, wines and spirits which increased 28 per cent. The big surprise was with the electronic sector which only managed just under 7% growth for the year. The growth and confidence of buying on line continues and there appears to be a downturn on the high street.

Clothing, footwear and accessories did even better with an increase of 31 per cent, compared with the same period last year….this really excites me as the website www.4little1s.com is our business and hoping some of these sales come our way…..
