I read an article in the newspaper this week about multiple births following the amazing news this week of the woman giving birth to eight children this week. I have paraphrased the article below:
A woman gave birth to eight babies in five minutes with the last octuplets coming as a total surprise ! Its only the second time that eight infants have been born alive and survived more than a few hours.
The mother and her medical team had spent months planning for seven babies, but were stunned when the eighth was born. The six boys and 2 girls were delivered crying and kicking by Caesarean section in California. The babies were know as A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H, weighing in from 1lb 8oz to 3lb 4oz.
Naturally we all wish them well from 4little1s.com and I am sure there will be plenty of Nursery furniture stores that would be keen to sponsor them !
