Wow what a month June has been for us. Record sales over last June and especially on the furniture this month ! What has been going on ? New furniture supplier (Saplings Nursery Furniture) has been added this month and no sooner did we add the cots the sales and enquiries started coming in. Still have the same questions from customers about should I go for a cot bed or a cot and we are happy to help as much as we can. There has been real interest in nursery furniture individual items and nursery furniture sets as well.
Some other new products added this month to help with sales and the range of baby gifts is really starting to get some traction now. Quite excited about the Nappy Cakes - Diaper cakes that we recently added to the site...what a great idea ! Had not seen or heard of them before but they have been around for awhile I understand. Baby gifts this month have been a real hit and especially the Humphrey's Corner Record Book for some reason ..... lovely gift.
The weather has also played an interesting part with us pushing different products depending on the weather that day. Good examples of this being waterproof kids stuff and Banz sungear
New CRM system and other business intelligence tools are now starting to give some value back which is good. Plenty of business analysis reports and data that need to be careful we don't suffer from paralysis from analysis. Some of the 'blue sky thinking' on different marketing approaches have helped as well.....some were pretty wild, but obviously worked !
Plenty of SEO work completed this month and since Google has done the Panda update we are glad to see all the hard work has paid off. Its been a while since I worked in IT but glad to see the 'old' methods are still working when it come down to good old hard work.
